Sheregesh is mining town in the Kemerovo region, located in the mountainous Shoria (foothills of the Altai). Average winter temperature in Sheregesh ranges between 23 (in December) and 25 (in January and February) degrees below zero (Celsius). Snow in the region lasts until May, and falls in October. In 1981 in Sheregesh on Mount Mustag was built ski resort for the Games of the peoples of the RSFSR. Currently, this center remains the best ski resort in Russia. If your love freeride, and once in your life you saw the famous "sheregesh snow", you will go back forever, in spite of the terrible cold and other inconveniences.
